Hello! I'm Dr. Namuun Bat. I am a licensed naturopathic doctor in the state of California, a published researcher, and the owner/founder of Nomad Functional Medicine.

Dr. Namuun Bat, ND, is a California-licensed naturopathic doctor and the founder of Nomad Functional Medicine, where she specializes in advanced functional lab testing and root-cause holistic medicine. With expertise in gut health and chronic disease management, Dr. Bat helps patients achieve lasting wellness through personalized care.

 

As a published researcher in complementary and integrative medicine, Dr. Bat blends evidence-based functional medicine with a compassionate approach to empower patients on their health journeys. She has over 10 years of research experience, investigating placebo effects, energy medicine, and mind-body interventions.

 

Dr. Bat earned her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University California and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Medicine and Biology, with a minor in Chemistry. 

 

In her spare time, Dr. Bat enjoys spending time with her two children, cooking, reading, listening to music, and exploring the outside nature.
